The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival (KGAF) has grown into one of Mumbai’s most iconic cultural events, attracting artists, performers, and visitors from across the globe. Held annually in the heart of South Mumbai, KGAF transforms the city’s historic region into a vibrant hub of creativity for nine days. The festival offers an immersive experience featuring diverse forms of artistic expression, from installations and performances to interactive workshops and discussions. Most importantly, it remains a free event, ensuring that art is accessible to everyone.
Since 2003, 70 EMG has played a crucial role in shaping KGAF’s success by managing, and producing an expansive cultural experience. Partnering with the Kala Ghoda Association, 70 EMG has worked closely with artists, performers, and institutions to bring together a diverse mix of events while maintaining the festival’s core ethos of inclusivity.
The 2025 edition of KGAF presented programs across 400+ programmes across 15 verticals, attracting 2.2 million visitors. With 40+ venues across Kala Ghoda and beyond, the festival showcased 3000+ international artists and built 100+ partnerships. Social media reach soared to 5.3 million, reinforcing its global significance.
